Southwater Dental Practice is a long established family surgery in the pleasant village of Southwater.
We are a three surgery practice, including three dentists and two hygienists. Our main goal is to provide a high standard of care and treatment to all our patients, while maintaining an ethical and honest approach. We will always place the patient's interest first and will discuss all treatment options and costs with you.
At Southwater Dental Practice we are also comitted to strictly adhering to local clinical governance laws and guidelines, including taking every care with cross infection control.
As part of our high standard of care and management, we are proud to be part of the LSE KSS (London and South East - Kent, Surrey & Sussex) dental deanery and are actively involved in post-graduate teaching and training of dentists.
Dr Khorami qualified as a dental surgeon in 1992 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He moved to the UK in 1998 and has been working here since. He is the principal dentist at Southwater Dental Practice and he enjoys every aspect of dentistry.
He has been a qualified educational supervisor for London South East - Kent Surrey Sussex Deanery since 2008. He has been mentoring dentists for many years and is continuously updating his knowledge on advancements within general dentistry. He provides facial aesthetics and offers teeth aligning treatments within the practice. He is married with two children.
Shiralee qualified from The University of Birmingham Dental School in 2010 and is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She undertook her vocational training here at Southwater Dental Practice between 2010 and 2011 and she has since worked in various NHS and Private practices in the Surrey and South London regions. She has worked in the hospital services, gaining experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative treatments and Paediatric dentistry. She has also provided emergency out of hours care at East Surrey Hospital. This broad range of experience has allowed her to become a well-rounded and accomplished clinician with a friendly and professional chair-side manner.
She returned to Southwater Dental Practice as an associate GDP in 2018 and is currently undertaking a Masters degree ,in Dental Public Health, at University College London. Her passion for health equity, ensuring that every patient benefits from prevention, is at the core of her dental practice
